The series
A single hand breaks the surface of a dark, restless sea — reaching, grasping, uncertain whether it's rising or already sinking. This piece sits at the edge of two opposing pulls: the will to stay above water, and the quiet weight of the depths calling it back down.
It shares the same classical drawing discipline as the rest of my work, but strips the composition down to almost nothing — a hand, a horizon, and the water itself doing most of the talking.
